The Rumors About the Incoming CS:GO French Shuffle Heat Up

Bost analysts, casters, and Richard Lewis spoke of the rumors of an incoming French Shuffling numerous times during the broadcast of the ELEAGUE Major 2017. A french news site, FlickShot, has reported rumors back in December, which would have had players from Team EnVyUs and G2 Esports coming together to form a super teams, that could seriously impact the rest of the European and worldwide CS:GO scene, as the French are one of the strongest CS:GO nations, next to Sweden.

According to the report on the French website, the new super team would compete under the G2 Esports banner, fielding Richard “shox” Papillon, Kenny “kennyS” Schrub, Alexandre “bodyy” Pianaro, Nathan “NBK” Schmitt and Dan “apEX” Madesclaire playing with Edouard “SmithZz” Dubourdeaux coaching the team. Shox and kennyS on the same team is definitely enough star power to make the new G2 one of the biggest fan favorites in any tournament, however, the actual performance on the server from a potential team with a roster like this would be up in the air.

The remaining players from both of the French rosters would not be left in the wind, with Christophe “SIXER” Xia, Vincent “Happy” Cervoni, and Cédric “RpK” Guipouy making up the nucleus of a new team, born from the mayhem the French Shuffle is sure to create. It’s been speculated that this second team would be joined by Alexandre “xms” Forté from LDLC and David “devoduvek” Dobrosavljevic, though we certainly hope that this doesn’t turn out to be true because devoduvek’s name is extremely hard to type.

Notably missing for the whole plan is Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom, the second part of the current G2 Esports’ roster’s win condition of shox and ScreaM popping off. The player isn’t set to be left flapping in the wind, however. According to the same sources the rest of the rumors are based on, ScreaM is set to join FaZe Clan. The whole thing isn’t that simple, however. To get that result, Philip “aizy” Aistrup will have to replace Ruben “RUBINO” Villarroel on North, while RUBINO himself will join a new team, set up by Joakim “jkaem” Myrbostad and ScreaM takes aizy’s place.

We have to emphasize that this is just a rumour, however, the complexity of the moves that will possibly take place is approaching the rumored situation in the NBA, which could make Carmelo Anthony join Clevaland Cavaliers, replaced by Kevin Loe with the help of several other teams.
