Overview of skins used by Olofmeister in ECS

June 28, 2016 - Esports

In my ongoing effort to inform you about the skins run by the best CS:GO pros around the world, I decided to see which cosmetics are favored by the newly returned leader of fnatic, Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer. I watched the demos from the recently finished ECS LAN Final, noting the skins used by the Swedish superstar.

To start with, olofmeister uses TWO different Karambit | Doppler knives, depending on the side he plays. On CT, he uses a Sapphire one, while favoring Ruby when playing Terrorist. It’s interesting to know that he needs to remind himself which side he’s playing on by the color of his knife. I’m kidding of course, it’s more likely that he has an appreciation for thematics. Whatever the reason may be, both knives in Factory New condition could relieve your bank account by around $3,100 a piece.

When the pistol rounds start, olofmeister prefers to use a Glock-18 | Fade or StatTrak USP-S | Orion. The starting Terrorist pistol in Factory New condition would cost you around $319, while a StatTrak USP-S | Orion could be purchased for measly $50 Factory New. Following on the theme of pistols, olofmeister uses Desert Eagle | Blaze, which costs around $40 and Tec-9 | Toxic, which goes for $3.49, Factory New. After that, mystifying things start happening because olofmeister doesn’t appear to use a skin for CZ-75 Auto, while also having no skin on his P250 while playing Terrorist, even though I glimpsed him using P250| Muertos on CT. Take this with a grain of salt, however, as I can’t be 100% sure.

Like many pros, olofmeister prefers M4A4 | Howl as his skin of choice for this staple CT assault rifle. His version also has StatTrak. Do you want one too? No problem, $2,100 and it’s yours in Factory New condition. His AK-47 is adorned with the Fire Serpent skin, which costs around $660 in the best condition, without StatTrak. That’s just pennies, right?

Finally, when olofmeister decides that AWPing is called for, he goes for AWP | Dragon Lore. I was quite surprised, actually. FalleN, one of the best AWPers in the world prefered Redline, while olofmeister who plays assault rifles more, had Dragon Lore. Weird. Still, if you want to complete your olofmeister cosplay in game, you will have to fork out around $1,300 for a Factory New Dragon Lore. Good luck!

All in all, starting from scratch, you would need to go on a bit of a splurge to feel like you were olofmeister. Summed up, all skins would cost you around $10,672. Damn. Saying anything else would just ruin the moment, so I will just leave you with that awe-inspiring number. $10,672.
