FlipSid3 Tactics Team Profile

This article is part of a series aimed at introducing the teams that are going to play at the ELEAGUE Major Boston. To see profiles of other teams, click on the images at the bottom of the article.

The ELEAGUE Major Boston is going to be the first tournament to feature a new structure where the Offline Qualifier is played under the umbrella of the Major instead of it being a separate event. We’re looking at all teams set to take part in the event. The Minors’ Champions have been discussed already, it’s time to talk about the Krakow’s Fallen.

FlipSid3 Tactics is one of these teams which make it to the big tournament but trails at the bottom in the vast majority when they do but can dominate the competition in qualifiers and similar lower tier events where the competition is weaker.

Forever on the outside looking in, FlipSid3 Tactics isn’t likely to get to the Playoffs of ELEAGUE Major Boston at all, but they do stand a decent chance of making it to the Main Event itself.

The Roster

FlipSid3 Tactics’ core, Andrey “B1ad3” Gorodensky, Georgy “WorldEdit” Yaskin, Yegor “markeloff” Markelov and Jan “wayLander” Rahkonen is still with the team. The only chance in the roster that took place was a trade with Natus Vincere, where Na’Vi got Denis “electronic” Sharipov and loaned F3 Denis “seized” Kostin.

On FlipSid3, seized could get a chance to get out of the shadow of his more famous teammates from Na’Vi and actually play for kills instead of simply supporting, while also advising his new teammates on how and what to do against world class competition he himself is used to facing.

Team Stats

It’s hard to say anything about the current state of FlipSid3 because the roster has only played six official matches together. They lost every single one, dying more than killing the opponents. Now, that wouldn’t be too concerning, after all, the current roster of FaZe Clan failed in its first tournament too, but the problem is that the opponents FlipSid3 lost to are… less than superb except for Virtus.pro. If F3 aspires to make it into the Group Stage of ELEAGUE Major Boston, they have no right to lose against teams like Fragsters and SuperJymy.

Recent Results

Having lost every official match they played so far in DreamHack Open Winter 2017 Europe Closed Qualifier and ESEA MDL Season 26 Europe, the players don’t have anything good to show with 9-16th and 17th placings in the respective events.
