ELEAGUE Virtus.pro Skin Overview

August 2, 2016 - Esports

Before ELEAGUE Season 1 started, there aren’t many people who’d have dared to say that Virtus.pro was going to win the whole thing. If some did say that, everyone who heard it probably said that they’re insane. Well, joke’s on them. In part due to the fact that some of the top teams were in a decline of form or their own improvement of skill, the Polish team won. Looking at the skins they like to use is a natural consequence.

Pistols

CT Starting Pistols

Two Virtus.pro players stand out in their choice of starting pistols or their skins. First of all, Filip “NEO” Kubski didn’t use USP-S, choosing P2000 instead and skinning it with Grassland Leaves. Second, Jarosław "pashaBiceps" Jarząbkowski didn’t use a skin for his USP-S at all. In fact, the player used three skins in total – Knife, AWP, and a random CZ75-Auto for some reason. For the rest,Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas and Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski used StatTrak USP-S | Orion, while Paweł "byali" Bieliński used StatTrak USP-S | Torque.

Glock-18

All four Glock skins used by Virtus.pro were different. TaZ used StatTrak Dragon Tattoo, NEO had StatTrak Royal Legion, Snax preferred StatTrak Grinder, and byali surprised with his StatTrak Catacombs.

P250

P250 and the rest of the pistols were quite annoying to catalogue. Virtus.pro ignored some of them uncommonly often. As a result, TaZ didn’t buy it a single time, preferring CZ75-Auto as CT, and Desert Eagle as Terrorist. NEO, however, used StatTrak Cartel, while pashaBiceps didn’t have a skin once again. Snax relied on a StatTrak P250 | Muertos, and byali liked his StatTrak Valence the most.

Desert Eagle

TaZ and Snax used Desert Eagle | Blaze, while NEO and byali increased Virtus.pro’s Deagle collection with Pilot and StatTrak Conspiracy respectively.

Tec-9/CZ75-Auto/Five-SeveN

I swear to god, Polish players have something against this tier of pistols. TaZ has Tec-9 and CZ75-Auto in his loadout, but he only bought Tec-9 ONCE, when he had a rifle already. I almost missed it. Nevertheless, his Tec-9 was skinned with Souvenir Toxic, while the CZ75-Auto he liked to use was StatTrak Yellow Jacket. NEO only bought a StatTrak Tec-9 | Jambiya, it was a very rare buy too. Snax bought a non-skinned Tec-9 and there wasn’t CZ or Five-SeveN to be seen, pashaBiceps had no skin on his Tec-9, even though he used StatTrak CZ75-Auto | Crimson Web for some reason. Finally, byali had Tec-9 | Re-Entry and StatTrak CZ75-Auto | Tigris.

Rifles

M4

Three Virtus.pro players— NEO, Snax, and byali— preferred M4A1-S. They used VariCamo, StatTrak Cyrex, and StatTrak Golden Coil respectively. TaZ had a StatTrak M4A4 | Howl like a beast, while pasha… had no skin on his M4A4.

AK-47

To go with his StatTrak Howl, TaZ had a StatTrak AK-47 | Fire Serpent, NEO had his Kalashnikov skinned with Black Laminate, byali preferred StatTrak Point Disarray, while Snax had StatTrak Vulcan.

AWP

I almost did an anime-style sweatdrop when I saw pasha’s AWP skin. It was a freaking Dragon Lore from a guy who barely uses skins at all. Going on, Virtus’ AWPer, Snax, has a StatTrak Electric Hive, byali doesn’t use a skin at all, NEO drops Graphite for his teammates, and TaZ has a StatTrak Asiimov.

Knives

It seems that it’s a close contest between players who like two different knives and using just one on Virtus.pro. With the score of 3:2, Team Single Knife won. Its members were TaZ, pashaBiceps, and Snax. TaZ had a Karambit | Ultraviolet, pasha – Karambit | Fade, and Snax preferred a StatTrak Falchion Knife | Slaughter. On the other side, NEO had a StatTrak M9 Bayonet | Rust Coat and StatTrak Falchion Knife, while byali waved around a Butterfly Knife | Fade and a Karambit | Doppler.

A final note, Virtus.pro players seem to like StatTrak very much. Most of their skins had it.
