ELEAGUE Playoffs – Overview of NiP Skins

July 28, 2016 - Esports

Ninjas in Pyjamas used to be known as one of the best CS:GO teams in the world. Nowadays, they are in a big slump, losing 2:0 to Virtus.pro in the Season 1 Playoffs of ELEAGUE, and yet, the team is legendary. If you are interested in which skins are used by the best pro teams, NiP should definitely be looked at. With that said, the team played two matches, so some conjecture might have to be made concerning some skins, when the player didn’t use the corresponding weapon at all in the two matches played by the team.

Pistols

USP-S

NiP is quite boring in terms of their USP-S skins. With exception of Richard "Xizt" Landström, who preferred Torque and Adam "friberg" Friberg, who actually used a Souvenir P2000 | Amber Fade, the rest of the team, namely  Patrik “f0rest” Lindberg, Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund, and Jacob "pyth" Mourujärvi used USP-S | Kill Confirmed, with GeT_RiGhT’s being the only one with StatTrak.

Glock-18

Now, the T-side starting pistols on NiP were much more varied, no player used the same skins as their teammate’s. Xizt had Candy Apple, friberg had Fade, and f0rest used Grinder, while GeT_RiGhT used StatTrak Dragon Tattoo, and pyth  chose Royal Legion.

P250

All five P250 skins were different once again. Mint Kimono was used by Xizt, f0rest had Crimson Kimono, pyth used StatTrak Mehndi, friberg shot people with a StatTrak Valence, while GeT_RiGhT had a StatTrak Asiimov.

Desert Eagle

NiP’s Desert Eagles were disappointingly boring with everyone except for GeT_RiGhT (Conspiracy) using Desert Eagle | Blaze with no StatTrak

Tec-9/CZ75-Auto/Five-SeveN

Xizt’s Terrorist loadout preference isn’t known for sure, as he only bought a CZ75-Auto, not buying Tec-9 OR CZ75-Auto on Terrorist side. Whatever the case may be, his CZ75-Auto is skinned with Victoria. Friberg uses Tec-9 | Avalanche and Five-SeveN | Monkey Business. F0rest prefers a Tec-9 and CZ75-Auto setup, although only his CZ75 has a skin, which is Victoria, just like Xizt’s. The same loadout is preferred by GeT_RiGhT too, however, he uses StatTrak Sandstorm and StatTrak Pole Position. Pyth’s loadout in ELEAGUE is a mystery as well, because he only showed Tec-9 | Avalanche, getting P250 or Desert Eagle instead of CZ75 or Five-SeveN in ELEAGUE Quarter-finals. In ECS, however, he DID use a Five-SeveN | Violent Daimyo.

Rifles

M4

NiP is one of the teams to have more than one player who prefers M4A1-S over M4A4. In this case, they are Xizt and f0rest, using Icarus Fell and Hot Rod respectively. GeT_RiGhT used an M4A4 | Howl, friberg preferred Poseidon, while pyth also splurged out for a Howl.

AK-47

StatTrak Red Laminate for Xizt, StatTrak Fire Serpent for GeT_RiGhT, Aquamarine Revenge for f0rest, StatTrak Fire Serpent for pyth, while friberg used a StatTrak Redline. Except for the Red Laminate, NiP's AK-47 skins were kinda boring, though definitely cool-looking.

AWP

Dragon Lore was the skin of choice for Xizt and f0rest, friberg preferred to drop a Phobos, while GeT_RiGhT used a Souvenir Pink DDPAT, and pyth shot people with Hyper Beast.

Knives

Finally, moving on to knives, there was no consensus on whether to use two or one of them on NiP. Xizt, GeT_RiGhT, and pyth always used one, while friberg and f0rest had two, one for each side. Pyth used M9 Bayonet | Tiger Tooth, Xizt had a trusty Butterfly Knife | Slaughter, and GeT_RiGhT was happy with his M9 Bayonet | Marble Fade. On the two knives’ front, friberg sported Karambit | Case Hardened and M9 Bayonet | Doppler, while f0rest had a Bayonet | Rust Coat and Karambit | Slaughter.
